Re: Finally Does It

Sounds very La Di Dah there mate. Dont go too OTT on it. You will spend too much time fussing over it than using it. In hind sight we went over the top on the interior finish. Too many $ and too hard to make little changes later. There is a realistic finish on most interior surfaces that doesn't inv...

Re: Mainsail single line reefing.

David The Remote sounds awesome. Being able to tweak the pilot once you are mid reef from your work station will be really handy. I haven't go a remote yet but do wish for one now and then. We sail in wind vane mode 90% of the time and auto tack and gybe. Works a treat. Reefing wise I would really r...

Re: Mainsail single line reefing.

Hi David What did you end up deciding? I agree with 44C re the comment on the pilot. Thats the kicker to being able to do almost any maneuver with these boats single handed. I vote standard slab reefing but I think single line at the mast would work well as a compromise and then once its down put st...

Re: Finally Does It

Looks Awesome David!! I see you have the most important feature of the boom. That being the cradle on the cabin roof to park it in!

Got any new pics for us?

Don't let Rus near your fence David he will want to Spray that too!!! Looks epic. Put a clear wrap on the whole side as soon as its painted as its going to be so shiny every little dull patch from fenders whatever will stand out like dogs balls!!! The flare above the water line is real nice too! Mick

Re: Desalinator [moved from MV Catapult build]

Bill

This set up ended up about 4k cheaper than an echo tech comparable unit approx exchange rate where it is etc.

Comparable cost to the H2Oonthego units
