Dean We only did small glue fillets either side of the stringer, except for stringers that were used for floors, cupboards or shelves. Additionally, we lined many visual (ie not in the cupboards) internal sides with 6mm (well resined the sealed cavities). Ensure that you keep it as clean and smooth ...

Beav222 I would cover the hulls from direct sunlight, even with a cheap tarp. We invited the paint specialist out to view ours prior to finishing. He suggested a light sand 120grit to break the skin. We then chose a nonablative followed by ablative paints from the same manufacturer. Yes, call overbo...

Now ten years in the water and the additional paint is literally ‘worth it’s wait in gold’. We have done one cutback externally and still have another 5-8 years I reckon. Inside, it still as we painted it.

I wouldn’t change what you are doing, in particular below waterline.

Quite simply, the BEST! Excellent haulout using either a travel lift or sealift, clean concrete hardstand area, THREE courtesy cars (2 of them utes), FREE laundry facilities, good amenities for liveaboards, great helpful friendly staff, AND CHEAP!
