Re: MV catapult
Nah that one definitely wasn't my dream Alan... If I build again it will be; Around 50ft LWL; Very light, no genset, no diesels, no bridgedeck cabin, Rotating carbon wingmast, high aspect sail plan, Asymmetric C type dagger foils, minimalistic but functional cruising interior space in each hull... I...

Despite the fun we've been having with this boat, id love to get into a good sailing cat somehow so that we can live on it and go cruising the world, starting with the pacific islands... Ive been racking my brains to figure the best way of achieving this goal. Ive been contemplating building again -...

Re: Desalinator [moved from MV Catapult build]
Well the DIY watermaker seems to be a success, works better than i expected :) Both Mick from ROAM and I have both got our systems up and running as per the design weve hashed out on here. Im ...

Re: MV catapult
well its all said and done now :) Had some serious butterflies whilst it all took place but everything went well... She floats "close" to her lines - a little stern heavy but not too bad... First time we opened her up and managed 27kts @ 5000rpm - props are too coarse to acheive proper rpm @ 5800. I...
