I’m in the US so take this with a grain of salt. As I understand it, here in the US anything sold that has the BS 1088 must meet the standard. There are products that come from China and other places that have the BS stamp and may have Okoume or Meranti skin which are both a Species of mahogany but ...

Thanks David. I’ve been working on the new shop sense December when I dug the foundation and then we got 2 feet of snow that lasted for 3 month. The tractor my son bought me came in very handy. I thought I’d post an update. I haven’t worked on the boat for over a year and it’s driving my crazy. I finally have the money and boat barn to finish so here ya go.
