Hosting Changes Done

FYI I am in the final stages of moving the site to a new host, could be anytime in the next week or two. Any connectivity issues you might need to give it a day to fix up. Once I make a change I will ensure the old site is locked down so you will know if you end up in the wrong place. Homepage Minim...

Re: Not a build, just a renovation :)

Recognise that one, even went to see it being built with Bob before he retired. I assume the build thread is still on boat design. All your ideas sound like just what is needs.

Login Issues

FYI bear with me this weekend if having login issues, you will have noticed the homepage is updated and I am removing some old functions. But looks like a link between logins has broken so I am working on it.

Re: MV catapult

Reciprocating saw aka Sawzall, with a nice long blade. No oil there, but might squeak a lot. All the ones I have seen were foam sheet. If you make it out of vertical layers you can contour the inside edge to the desired shape, like the old geography 3d contour models so then you only need to knock o...

Florida ASA Course

So to train myself on a multi bigger than a Maricat and to give my wife her first proper sailing introduction, I have booked us on a week long course in the US. Just a slight risk there as we only recently got a drug to fix her airsickness, so pumping some more of them into her and casting off. But ...

Re: BIPOLAR

Good to see it's working out for you Michael. Someone has to be first to find out the issues, but sounds like you got them sorted quickly and back on the water to enjoy the hard work. I do wonder if the cost savings will be lost in having to design the mast again for the new length and loads if othe...
