Wow, that is some surface area, Fibreglassed and faired my bridgedeck on the ground before I installed it. I am going to be using a stipple finish spray product to cover up the underside of my bridgedeck, hides a lot of stuff. (it is similar to body deadener but white) Just like Pure Majek and Marti...

Thanks, Matt and Jim.
I thought having stops is necessary, didnt think the steering cable would like to be the travel limiter, can see all sorts of problems with that.
On another note, how are your Stauff clamps wearing after 7 years Jim ?

Just a question, Just fitted a steering tie rod setup similar to what Jim has done on the Leslie James, Did you boatbuilders fit physical stops for your tiller heads or did you rely on the steering cable for steering travel stop.? Those of you with hyd steering probably just rely on the rams themsel...

this boat is huge my Sarah's hulls are 1 sheet wide and the tracy's are 2 sheets wide. huge project and the timberwork is perfect.
