Re: Sarah 41

Laying in bed this morning as usual I had that moment of clarity that we all have. I have had the most wonderful time building my Easy catamaran and I just wanted to share a few view points with anyone that is either building or considering building. Re: Sarah 41

Hey: just checked in, looks like you are going great! I still can't quite believe how much faster our second hull took to assemble. Looking back the time difference seems improbable, but it just was. Keep up the good work. You'll be thinking about the bridgedeck soon! Hi there PS, I think it’s a li...

Another problem I solved was, in the beginning I stuck the paper ...

Re: glassing the keel

FYI. I Glassed mine on the hull and each layer I carried down the hull a little farther. So the first layer I went about 100 mm and the second about 300 mm then 600mm and the last went all the way over the chine. I felt that would be the strongest and would make the fairing easier as the transition ...

Re: Sarah 41

Looking good! Just a suggestion, take the underwater primer to well above the waterline, like at least 100mm. You want to antifoul well above the waterline because it's always wet due to waves, and green stuff will grow on ordinary paint. And chances are, you'll be a bit over design weight at times...
