Very impressive Mick, great job! I'm not sure if it's just the lens on the camera but the cockpit looks huge!

Beautiful - well done.

I like the simple, clean, uncluttered look throughout.

I know the camera lens has distorted the pictures but that is one big 48 foot boat.

The end is nigh.....you lucky b.....

And out she goes!!!

This was an amazing feeling. To be able to step back for the first time (more than 2m due to it being in the shed) and see for the first time in 6 years what we have built!!!

Full road closure and permit required us to be off the road by 0500hrs so in the dark it was. Over width permits are issued from the Heavy Vehicle Regulator in qld now and took us 7 weeks to get. Held us up 2 weeks as we missed our first tide launch window due to endless bureaucracy

Waiting for low tide to take the boat off the trailer

Tilt slide semi doing its thing. We only have 800mm of tide so needed to get way back on the low tide mark

Naming ceremony. We had the best day

Waiting for the ocean to come and get her

Sitting pretty at anchor at 6800kgs based on draft marks. full water, 50% fuel and all moved in. Bit of stuff other than rig still to come on but on track to end up very close to DWL

We have been doing a little local power cat cruising. I'm back at work now saving up for my mast and sails... will be a while until we are up and sailing

Amazing job, from start to finish.

What really interests me right now (as I'm trying to do the same) is how you got that trailer out from under the boat before the tide came in.

Well done. Chris
