Hi builders,

Does anyone know anything about this brand of steering? I can't find an Australian Distributor and I want to see if I can get the rest of the system? any ideas?

It shouldn't matter what breed it is, it is just a helm pump and any type of ram and autopilot pump would work with it as they are all separate items joined by hydraulic hose. The only important thing to know is what the capacity of the pump is, ie: how much fluid it moves in one revolution. My first pump only pumped 1.7 per rev and it made the steering very doughy, 5 turns lock to lock, so I replaced it with a 2.4 which brought it down to around three turns, heaps better.

Jim.
