"Don't forget mooring lines!" . Could get interesting (and embarrasing) at the other end.

Tell the experts with all the conflicting advice to pull their heads in (in the most gentle of terms) and do it yourself. If you have managed to get a pile of wood and glass to the water so it floats, the rest is easy. I am not talking about sailing here, just launching.

Looking at the tides, the week 17-23 of this month is our likely launch window.

:D

Yeeha!

And don't forget the pictures - plenty of pictures...

I need some inspiration as I start on my build in the next couple of weeks.

So now I need it to stop raining for a while. It's been absolutely pissing down.

Watch for mud banks in the Caboolture River. Luckily we could push ourselves off, against the outgoing tide, so the only thing hurt was my pride! :D

It's a buggier, especially on one corner where it's shallow at the best of times. They used to have beacons that got washed away a few floods back. Going up that way in a few weeks. Where are you?

Hi James
We're at Newport marina for now. Plan to move her down to the southern end of the bay in a month or so once we get a bit more work done. Mike
