Botanical gardens, Brisbane River.

Tips to other sailors. Or just a great spot for a visit.

Right in the heart of Brisbane CBD.

Brisbane is a great city for boat based tourists. The river puts you right in the heart of it, it's not a huge city, so a lot is within walking distance.... BUT there is so much free or very cheap public transport!

The "City Hopper" ferries - every 1/2 hour, just jump on, they're free! You can hire pushbikes for $2 a day, with hire/return stations dotted all over the place. (Every 300m - 500m they say)

Being here just before Christmas has been great. Fireworks displays every night for a week, within easy walking distance.

A decent dinghy dock near the pile moorings, with a laundry and toilets. It's a great setup.
